A week of bad sleep
Daily Journal Prompts - 25 January 2025
Last week, I had five late nights in a row.
I watched a football match until late, played Pickleball from 9 pm to 11 pm, and had a few late-night meetings with my business partner to close time-sensitive matters.
It made me lethargic in the mornings.
I’d wake up and start the day in a daze that would not improve until around 5 p.m.
I would then be overcaffeinated and struggle to sleep on time the next night.
I’ve seen my productivity suffer too.
While it wasn’t my best week, I’m grateful for the opportunity to reset it’s given me.
Sometimes, feeling off-track is the nudge we need to re-evaluate and make better choices.
And we should be grateful even when things don’t go our way.
Today’s Prompts

Reflect on your last bad day. How can you reframe it as an opportunity for growth?

The 'If you don’t have time’ Prompt
What is one thing I can do today to set myself up for a better tomorrow?
Get the most out of your journalling:
Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.
Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.
Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.
I’d love your feedback
