Episode 200

Daily Journal Prompts - 9 March 2025

When I started out, I planned to do just five newsletter episodes to see how I felt after that and whether people were interested in the content.

5 became 10, then 25, then 50, then 100.

And here we are at the 200th daily newsletter, and we continue to grow.

It’s true when they say effort stacks up over time.

For me, there are three important factors to consider when deciding whether to continue or focus on other initiatives.

  • People enjoy or relate to the content

  • I don’t struggle to create the content

  • The newsletter is growing, which means there’s an interest in journaling and journal prompts

I’m happy to say it’s a go-ahead for now.

Separately, I have begun work on a website that aims to house the largest collection of journal prompts online, but with the user being able to find the prompt they need easily.

This journaling-based business was always a passion project so please bear with me for being slow to launch the website.

I’ll share more details once it is fleshed out.

For now, I’m just thankful to each of you for joining this journey, and I hope it has been helpful.

Today’s Prompts

1 - Reflect on something you started small but grew over time. What was the initial goal, and how has it evolved?

2 - How has consistency played a role in your personal or professional growth?

3 - If you had to advise your past self when you first started a new journey, what would you say?

Get the most out of your journalling:

  • Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

  • Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.

  • Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.

  • Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.

  • Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.

I’d love your feedback
