For the days you don’t have time to journal
Daily Journal Prompts - 2 January 2025
There are days you can journal for hours on end, taking the time to think and gain clarity.
Then there are days that feel like a whirlwind, and the last on your mind is to sit down and think.
Or you are on the go, and don’t have a decent period of time to sit and journal.
For those days, I created the “If You Don’t Have Time” prompt. I find it pretty useful to keep as a backup option for a quick reflection.
It takes just 3 - 5 minutes to complete and consists of just three lines to recount your win from the day, your point of tension, stress or anxiety, and to express gratitude to someone or something.
Most importantly, it gets lingering thoughts out of my mind, and I don’t carry them into bed.
If I feel they are important enough to warrant further exploration, I will revisit them the next day or when I get time to reflect properly.
Do you have something similar? Would love to hear yours!
Today’s Prompts
My go-to 'If you don’t have time’ Prompt
1 win from today:
1 point of tension, stress, or anxiety:
1 piece of gratitude:
Get the most out of your journalling:
Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.
Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.
Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.
I’d love your feedback
