Fun prompts to get the mind moving
Daily Journal Prompts - 14 December 2024
Sometimes, you just want to write about something different.
I have a go-to list of fun prompts I’ve used.
I like them because they always show you something about yourself, and if you revisit the prompt after a year or two, you’ll often find your answer is different.
Enjoy the prompts!
Today’s Prompts
Who would you dine with if you could have dinner with anyone (real person or fictional character)? How do you imagine the conversation will go?
What is the most outlandish dream you have ever had?
If you could invent anything, what problem would your invention solve?
What would you do if you were invisible for a day?
If you could time travel to any place at any point in time, where would you go? Describe what you think you will see there.
If you were the ruler of the country you live in, what would be the first law you implement? Why?
What questions will you ask an alien visiting Earth?
Get the most out of your journalling:
Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.
Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.
Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.
I’d love your feedback
