How do you know you made the right decision?
Daily Journal Prompts - 21 November 2024

I’ve probably asked myself that question dozens of times since starting my solopreneurship journey five months ago.
And for every time I’ve made a major decision in life.
And then I think about. I journal about it.
And the conclusion is always the same.
I will never know.
I can’t live two lives, compare both, and then decide to pursue that life.
It just doesn’t work that way.
I’ve made my decision carefully after considering all possibilities. It is up to me to do my best and make things work, even if it turns out to be a wrong decision - I can still gain good lessons.
That means doing whatever I can to increase my odds of success - giving it my all, planning and executing well, and staying focused.
Sometimes, when embraced healthily, self-doubt can serve as a compass, reminding you to stay aligned with your goals and push forward with purpose.
Today’s Prompts
Self-reflection
How do I typically handle self-doubt? Think back to the last three situations where I doubted myself.
What fears or uncertainties do you have about a recent decision? How can you address them constructively?
Quote of the day
“Sometimes you make the right decision, sometimes you make the decision right.” – Phil McGraw
The 'If you don’t have time’ Prompt
What is one decision you're proud of making, and why?
Get the most out of your journalling:
Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.
Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.
Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.
I’d love your feedback
