I want you to do this

Smile.

Just smile.

Smiling is one of the simplest forms of self-therapy.

Research shows that smiling—even when forced—can help boost your mood, reduce stress, and trick your brain into thinking you're happier.

Your brain releases dopamine, endorphins, and serotonin—hormones that improve your mood and overall well-being.

So, if you're having a bad day, smile.

If you're having a great day, smile.

If you're tired, smile.

If you wake up groggy in the morning, smile.

Whatever it is, try smiling that little bit more, and see the magic unfold.

Today’s Prompts

1 - Happiness

What does happiness mean to you, and how has that definition evolved?

2 - Relationships

Who in your life makes you happiest, and why?

3 - Happiness

How can you incorporate more smiling into your daily routine?

3 - Quote of the day

“You have control over your mind, not external events. Realise this and you will find strength.” - Marcus Aurelius

4 - The 'If you don’t have time’ Prompt

What made you happy last week? Describe why in 2 sentences.

Get the most out of your journalling:

  • Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

  • Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.

  • Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.

  • Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.

  • Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.

I’d love your feedback
