Daily Journal Prompts - 12 February 2025

A couple of days ago, my wife and I drove to Cabo da Roca (or Cape Roca) in Portugal, which is the the Western most point of the Europe landmass.
Around 800 - 1,000 years ago, in Portugal no one even knew whether there were other continents out of the “known” world of Europe.
Some of the great seafarers came from Portugal, including Vasco Da Gama, who was the first European to discover India by sea.
I imagined what it must have been like for them, standing in the same spot, staring at the same ocean, wondering what else was out there.
They must have dreamed about lands beyond their maps, questioned the limits of their knowledge, and then—most importantly—acted on their imaginations.
That’s the thing about imagination. It’s not just daydreaming. It’s seeing beyond what currently exists and having the courage to explore it.
We might not be sailing across uncharted waters today, but in our own lives, we face moments where we must imagine what’s possible before taking action.
What could you discover if you allowed yourself to imagine more?

What could you discover if you allowed yourself to imagine more?
How would your life change if you believed anything was possible?
Get the most out of your journalling:
Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.
Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.
Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.
I’d love your feedback
