Next steps for Daily Journal Prompts
Daily Journal Prompts - 8 November 2024
Daily Journal Prompts started as a passion project.
I’ve been journaling for most of my adult life and thought others could benefit from the prompts that helped me grow and become who I am today.
Through it, I’ve met all of you and discovered many other communities and resources about journaling. I’ve learned a lot.
I see the same questions repeatedly — people asking for prompt suggestions, how to start journaling, whether they should focus on maintaining streaks, and what journal products are best for them.
So, as the next evolution of Daily Journal Prompts, I am building a website that I hope will be the #1 resource for ALL things journaling, from prompts (categorised based on topics) to getting started with journaling to journaling tips, guides and product recommendations.
It will still be a passion project, so it could take some time to get there. I’ll share more details as I make progress.
Meanwhile, I’m enjoying creating these newsletters and will continue them for now.
Today’s prompts are about evolving & growth.
Today’s Prompts
Growth
What moments in my life have marked a turning point or significant step forward?
Who or what has significantly influenced my growth journey, and what lessons have I learned from them?
What area of my life would I like to see evolve or grow in the coming year? What steps should I take to get there?

The 'If you don’t have time’ Prompt
What’s one small step I can take today toward my longer-term growth goals?
Get the most out of your journalling:
Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.
Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.
Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.
I’d love your feedback
What was your favourite prompt of the day? Is there any specific challenge you want prompts for? How can I improve the content of the newsletter? Reply this mail and let me know!
Keep growing,
