Prompts for when you don’t have time
Daily Journal Prompts - 17 November 2024
We’ve all been there.
Sometimes, we want to keep a journaling streak going but are tired and have had a long day.
The thought of spending 20 - 30 minutes journaling is exhausting.
I’ve been there. My solution was to create a list of “lite” journaling prompts.
They don’t require more than 5 minutes and reduce the pressure to journal, which is great if you want to maintain a streak.
I don’t care about maintaining a streak, but sometimes, when I sit down and don’t have a topic bothering me, I go to one of these prompts, which inspires tangents that keep me writing.
Today’s Prompts
The 'If you don’t have time’ Prompt
What was the best part of my day?
What’s one thing I’m grateful for right now?
What’s a small win I achieved today?
What’s one thing I learned today?
What made me smile today?
What’s one thing I’d like to improve tomorrow?
What’s one thought I want to let go of?
What’s one thing I’m looking forward to?
What was a challenge I faced, and how did I handle it?
What’s a small act of kindness I witnessed or gave?
What’s something that energised me?
Who did I connect with, and how did it feel
What’s something I would like to change about tomorrow?
I’d love your feedback
