Rapid-fire prompts
Daily Journal Prompts - 18 October 2024
It’s been a pretty heavy week of challenging prompts, so I decided to go in a slightly different direction today.
I haven’t yet decided how often I will do “Rapid-fire” issues, but if you like it, just reply this mail and share your feedback!
So, what is it?
I list 7 questions.
You do all of them in one go and spend a maximum of two minutes per question.
Unlike the usual prompts you see in this newsletter, please answer quickly without deep reflection.
The questions are designed to help you learn something about your self.
I always find I get surprising answers that teach me something unexpected about myself.
For example, I did a rapid-fire round on Sunday, and one of the questions I listed was “What is one skill you wish you had?”
And I answered “Web design”.
That’s a weird skill to want, but given my difficulties from last week, it was the skill I needed at the moment. My answer highlighted how much my lack of progress in designing a website was bothering me.
That made me invest in a course to get better on it.
Enjoy today’s Rapid-fire prompts!
