Daily Journal Prompts - 30 October 2024

I came across this journal prompt last week on Reddit and immediately connected with it. It is:
How would I describe my situation if I were to tell it as a story of resilience instead of struggle?
I spent part of the weekend writing with it and had a blast. I like it for a few reasons:
- It reframes a negative to a positive
- It prepares you for more hardship to come
- It gives you evidence that you are resilient
Apologies, in my rush to work on the prompt, I didn’t take note of the OP and cannot give due credit.
Today’s Prompts
1 - Resilience
How would I describe my situation if I were to tell it as a story of resilience instead of struggle?
2 - Resilience
How can I turn a current obstacle into an opportunity to grow?
3 - Quote of the day
“Resilience is very different than being numb. Resilience means you experience, you feel, you fail, you hurt. You fall. But, you keep going.” ― Yasmin Mogahed
4 - The 'If you don’t have time’ Prompt
What is one thing I will do differently tomorrow?
Get the most out of your journalling:
- Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
- Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
- Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.
- Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.
- Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.
I’d love your feedback
