Daily Journal Prompts - 7 December 2024

As part of my year-end routine, I spend a few journaling sessions from mid-November onwards reflecting on the year. This is episode #6 in the ‘Review your year’ series. The previous issues are here.

Our health and fitness affect all areas of our lives.

When things are in check, we are more productive, happier, mentally sharper and less likely to turn to vice.

I had neglected my health for most of my 20s, developing many bad habits that sent my weight over 100 kg in my early 30s.

Crossing the 100 kg mark was a wake-up call to care for my health.

I became serious about my health, prioritised it, and within a few years, reached my fittest point since my University days.

I still have a long way to go, but I’m in a much better place than I was, and it shows in every area of life.
