Thank you, and see you soon!

Daily Journal Prompts - 2 June 202

When I first started this newsletter, I didn’t know if I could make it to 50 issues. But here we are, at Issue 250.

It began as a passion project. I had just quit my job. I didn’t know what business I would start.

I only knew that journaling had helped me make big decisions before, and I wanted to share that power with others while I figured out my next steps.

This newsletter became a place where I could process my thoughts in public, alongside others doing the same.

I’ve met people through this project who I would never have met otherwise, and I am ever grateful for every subscriber.

But now, life has entered a new season.

I’m working hard on launching two businesses, both of which are inching closer to going live.

They’re exciting, demanding, and full of new challenges.

And I’m realising that I no longer have the capacity to give this newsletter the consistency and attention it deserves.

So I’ve made a difficult decision: I’m hitting pause.

I don’t know how long it will be. It might be a few weeks or a few months. I want to return when I can give it the focus it needs.

What I do know is this:

Publishing this newsletter has been one of the most meaningful things I’ve done for myself.

It’s the first time I've launched something for myself, and it’s given me the confidence to create more.

So, thank you. For reading. For replying. For sharing.

I want to leave you with some of my favourite prompts to end this milestone episode.

See you soon.

My favourite prompts

1 - Do I want my life 10 years from now to be similar to what it is today? What is one thing I can do today to invest in my future self?

2 - What are my life values or rules for living? Am I truly embodying them? How can I better align my actions with my values?

3 - What qualities do I value most in my friends, and how can I nurture those qualities in myself?

4 - What are my favourite feelings? How can I cultivate them more often?

5 - What are 5 things about myself I am happy about? What does it tell me about myself?

6 - Who makes my life better and why?

7 - What qualities do I love about myself?

8 - How do I feel after helping someone else? How can I spread kindness tomorrow?

9 - What did I see today that was beautiful?

10 - How can I incorporate more smiling into my daily routine?

11 - Think back to 5 years ago. In what ways have I grown since then?

Get the most out of your journalling:

  • Choose one prompt: Focus on just one prompt each day to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

  • Be brutally honest: Reflect openly and honestly. This is your safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.

  • Take your time: Sometimes it takes a few days to clarify your thinking. Here’s permission for you to take your time to unravel a prompt and not take on any new ones during that time.

  • Journal your way: Whether you prefer writing, audio recording, or video, choose the method that suits you best.

  • Don't stress about streaks: If you miss a day, don't worry. You can always revisit a previous prompt.

I’d love your feedback
