The next 100 days
Daily Journal Prompts - 16 March 2025
Most people overestimate what they can do in a day but underestimate what they can do in 100 days.
100 days is enough time to:
Build a new habit.
Start (and finish) a meaningful project.
Improve your fitness.
Change the trajectory of your career.
But only if you’re intentional.
Too often, we drift through life, reacting to whatever comes our way.
But when you take control of your next 100 days, you turn time into an asset instead of something that just slips away.
I’ve found it more effective to think in quarters than a month or even a year.
100 days is long enough to see results yet short enough to stay motivated and focused.
You either make progress or you don’t.
It also removes the illusion of “someday.” If you don’t start today, you’re already falling behind.
The next 100 days will pass whether you plan for them or not.
The difference is whether you look back and see progress or just another stretch of time lost to distraction.
So, what’s one thing you’ll commit to for the next 100 days?
Today’s Prompt
